How quickly will I receive my official AHA certification eCard after class?
All official American Heart Association certifications are issued digitally as AHA eCards. Upon successful completion of your hands-on class, your 2-year certification eCard for eligible certification courses is typically generated and emailed to you the very same day (or within 24 business hours). Pro-Tip: Look for an email titled 'Your AHA eCard' from no-reply@heart.org. Family & Friends is non-certification training, and Bloodborne Pathogens provides a separate certificate of completion.
What is the difference between AHA BLS and Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED?
AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) teaches professional-level CPR and team resuscitation skills for healthcare professionals, clinical students, and other responders. Everyone is welcome; no clinical background is required. Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED covers First Aid, CPR, and AED skills for workplace and community responders, including childcare and fitness teams. Confirm the accepted course and credential with your employer or licensing authority.
Does The CPR Pro come to our office or home for on-site training?
Yes. Serving the NYC Five Boroughs, Long Island, Westchester & the Lower Hudson Valley (including Rockland, Putnam, and Orange Counties), Northern & Central New Jersey, and SW Connecticut — all locations within 100 miles of Brooklyn. We bring all manikins, training AEDs, and sanitized supplies directly to your location.
Can I take an AHA renewal course if my CPR card has already expired?
Yes. If your AHA certification has recently expired, you can still enroll in our fast-track renewal sessions to recertify hands-on skills proficiency and receive an updated 2-year AHA eCard.
